How Audience Research Impacted Our Ideas

The questionnaire results show a positive view of the existing horror and film industry. The majority of participants answered 'Yes' in the question; "do you like horror films" and as a product of this our film is going to be very conventional and in some ways intertextual to films within the 'Slasher' sub-genre. All of the results collected from our questionnaire were from people aged 16-19 and most were very positive regarding our idea for a film on the final question, this means we succeeded in reaching our target audience and demographic by using a an interesting but not too unconventional idea for a film.
